A POEM

My poem about my my long lost friend...

"I love you my friend, I had the time of my life with you.
Until the very end, all I had on my mind was you.
I hope one day, I will get to say, how much you have meant to me. 
But until then, while my heart still mends, I guess this is the end.

"No regrets now" as I turn around, but all I feel is pain.
With you is where I have felt the love, but now I walk the walk of shame.
I hope one day, I will get to say, how much I have longed to be.
